This October, West Zone concessionaire Maynilad Water Services, Incorporated (Maynilad) is offering septic tank cleaning services to its residential and semi-business customers in select parts of Caloocan, Malabon, Quezon City, Manila, Muntinlupa, Las Piñas, Parañaque, and Bacoor and Imus in Cavite province at no extra cost.

Maynilad customers residing in Barangays 28, 35, 129,165-167, 170, 172, 174-176, 178-188 in Caloocan; Barangay Panghulo and Longos in Malabon; Greater Lagro, Nagkaisang Nayon and Sauyo in Quezon City and Barangay 20, Parola and Baseco in Tondo, Manila may avail of this cleaning service, which normally costs around ₱4,000 per truck.

Customers in the south may also avail of this service, particularly those from: Barangays San Antonio, San Dionisio and San Isidro in Parañaque; Barangays Bayanan and Poblacion in Muntinlupa; Barangays Talon II, Pamplona II and Almanza I-II in Las Piñas; Habay I-II, Ligas I-II and San Nicolas I-III in Bacoor, Cavite; and Barangays Bayan Luma I-IX, Bucandala I-V and Carsadang Bago I-II in Imus, Cavite.

Maynilad President and CEO Ramoncito S. Fernandez emphasized that Maynilad’s sanitation program is part of the effort to lessen pollution loading into our river systems, “We ask our customers to avail of this service to protect community health and the environment.”
